Making a Difference

Since our start in January 2021, we have learned how wonderful and giving our community is. Whether there’s a windstorm at the farm, or minis needing out of a situation from states away, you have truly shown up for these little equines. Thank you for sharing our vision for the positive outcomes of these animals, who are often distressed, unloved, or cast-off in this world before they find their way to HOME.

There are 3 ways you can financially help prepare these minis for happy, healthy, and secure futures. A One Time Donation helps with our general fund to run the rescue, last minute vet bills, and new intakes. A Sponsorship/Monthly Commitment (See below), helps our minis who are likely to live out the rest of their lives at our rescue, and covers their care and special dietary or health needs. A Grant helps us with our big projects on the farm – We’ve used grants to pay for concrete floors in the barn, a gravel walking track around the farm, and other special projects.

The gift of time is equally important to us and we’d love to love to have you join our team of Mini Makers volunteers!

We are so appreciative of your generosity and serving as the backbone of making HOME what it is today!

HOME Haven Sponsorships

HOME Haven is a part of our rescue that provides long term sanctuary to minis that will have a harder time finding their forever future. HOME Haven was started in honor of HOME’s friend Caren and is a program to sponsor our mini equines that are unlikely to find a forever home. Right now, we have 9 animals in this program. All of these animals have some kind of health issue making them unlikely to be adopted. For example, two are blind, one has allergies to everything except Orchard grass and another has shoulder pain that requires medications and body therapy. Since we are planning to HOME these minis for the remainder of their lives, we have sponsorship goodies available for monthly donors who continue to support the wellness of these 9 equines.
